Update: this agenda item should be heard at 3pm or shortly thereafter. Please aim to be in room 250 at City Hall at that time.

Please join us to support the proposed 100% affordable housing for seniors at 3333 Mission. A group of neighbors has filed an appeal against the project at the Board of Supervisors, and the item will be heard on Tuesday, February 3.

D9 Neighbors is organizing drop-in support for 3333 Mission. We will have volunteers on site to provide updates so that you can head to City Hall when the item comes up on the agenda and don't have to spend the whole afternoon there (unless you want to). We'll also send you tips on effective public-comment in advance. Believe it or not, this can be fun!

The appeal is without merit and is a last-ditch attempt to block this desperately needed housing for seniors, the fastest-growing homeless population in San Francisco, on a site that has been vacant for years. It's important that we show up in force and make it clear that further delays are not acceptable.

If you can't attend that day, we will also be circulating a letter you can send to express your support for 3333 Mission and to urge the supervisors to reject the appeal. Thanks for showing up for housing!
