Showing Up for Racial Justice is growing! We are welcoming new members and people interested in deepening their commitment to building an anti-racist community. We encourage you to bring food and eat a noon meal with us. We will explore opportunities to get involved and find support. All ages are welcome! Bring friends and family! Our guest speaker will be Charlie Fomby from Homes Instead. She is one of the witnesses that spent almost every day (and some nights) outside Homestead Migrant Detention Center while the world clamored for the facility to be shut down. While there are no longer kids there, the staff is still working and 1200 beds are ready to see a new group of migrant children as soon as October. Find out what you can do to help.
