For more than 38 years, Centro por la Justicia has worked alongside residents to advance environmental justice, workers' rights, climate resilience, and community leadership. Funds raised would help us continue our fight against data center expansion in San Antonio to protect our communities and our continued development of our Regional Healing and Resilience Community Center on San Antonio's East Side transforming a historic neighborhood property into a permanent community resource that will serve generations to come. Located just two blocks from the proposed Project Marvel site, this property has been at the center of neighborhood conversations and redevelopment pressures for many years. Our goal is to ensure it remains a community-owned asset dedicated to serving residents.

Once completed, the center will provide:

• Workforce development and leadership training.

• Food sovereignty training and creation of food security through the Roots of Change community garden.

• Safe and affordable spaces for organizing, healing, and civic engagement.

• Renewable energy infrastructure that strengthens community preparedness while demonstrating sustainable practices.

• Emergency services during extreme weather events and other public emergencies.

• Community gathering and educational space for residents, nonprofits, and neighborhood organizations.
