Let’s tell Burbank City Council we support true bus rapid transit!

Abundant Housing LA is working with allied organizations in Burbank to advocate for the BRT. The project is moving forward and is supposed to connect Pasadena with North Hollywood, via a short bus ride, prior to the 2028 Summer Olympics!

Some city council members have expressed interest in blocking construction permits for the project. This is a real threat that would slow down service for the badly needed regional transportation project and could throw the project’s timeline into question. But thanks in part to our advocacy, the City Council has scheduled a meeting to discuss the project on the afternoon of Wednesday, May 5, with a coalition of transit riders, cyclists, housing advocates and other urbanists. The opposition will be showing up, so we have to make sure we show up and tell the council we support rapid transit!
