On May Day 2026, Cville DSA will join Indivisible Charlottesville, as well as DSA chapters across the US, in taking action against the Trump administration, the billionaire class he represents, and the broken status quo.
It's not enough to defeat Trump, the working class needs to challenge the forces that brought him to power and build a better society for everyone. To do that, we need to learn how to take action together and struggle.
On Friday, May 1, 2026 there will be No Work, No School, and No Shopping as we demonstrate our collective power and push back against the billionaire class. Join us!
- 12pm: Gather at the Freedom of Speech Wall Downtown and march to Booker T. Washington Park (1001 Preston Ave)
- 1 - 5pm: May Day Solidarity Celebration at Booker T. Washington Park with community, kids activities, music, and food.
