Are you a professional who is interested in organizing a union in your workplace, but do not know how to talk to your coworkers about forming a union? Join us for a webinar on how professionals can start the process of forming a union by having conversations with their coworkers. This educational webinar will take place on Zoom at 12pm ET/9am PT on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2025.

During this webinar, attendees will learn some basics about unions as well as hear from a professional who recently formed a union. The event will include the following:

  • An overview of professionals’ workplace rights
  • A run through of the steps to forming a union
  • A discussion with a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) member about their experience starting conversations with coworkers

This event is meant to provide attendees with the knowledge they need to start organizing a union in their workplace.

This webinar will be hosted both on Jan. 16 at 12pm ET/9am PT and on Jan. 8 at 9pm ET/6pm PT. If you would like to attend the Jan. 8 webinar instead, RSVP here.
