The Takoma Park City Council has approved a study of the City's rent stabilization law, potentially laying the groundwork to weaken the law. On June 10, the consulting firm, RSG, Inc., will present the results of the rent stabilization study to the City Council.
MoCo DSA is organizing tenants and residents to testify in support of maintaining and even strengthening the city's law. Join us at the Electric Maid near the Takoma Metro on Sunday, June 7 to prepare testimony together and make signs for the hearing. Food and testimony coaching will be provided!
