Tashlich: Mourn The Dead, Fight For The Living. Join JVP San Diego on September 28th at 4PM for our mourning ceremony during this Rosh Hashanah. Friends and allies are welcome as we renew ourselves for the new year with promises of steadfastness and liberation for all people.

2 years of zionist terrorism and genocide. As Palestinians endure and report these atrocities to the rest of the world, we have heard their calls and yelled, cried, advocated, educated, organized, and mourned. For 2 years. Now is not the time to burn out and fall numb as our own country falls to incompetent fascists. We instead invite our friends, families, and allies to an anti-zionist Jewish ceremony of mourning and renewal on September 28th at 4 pm at Tuna Harbor Park.

JVP San Diego will be conducting a Tashlich ritual, which is a custom where participants "cast off" their sins before the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah. We are solemnly commemorating this second year of genocide by casting off zionism and racism, and committing ourselves to ending U.S. complicity in and support of the genocidal practices that affect Palestinian, Lebanese, Iranian, Syrian, and many other Arab, Muslim, and Levantine communities daily. This year, we remember the hundreds of thousands that have been martyred and injured and next year may we end the violent specter of zionism and fascism everywhere. Shanah Tovah in liberation.
