You're invited to an anti-zionist Jewish ceremony of mourning and renewal on September 13th at 3:30 pm at John's Lake Vista in Chollas Lake Park.

JVP San Diego will be conducting a Tashlich ritual, which is a custom where participants "cast off" their sins before the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah. We are solemnly commemorating this third year of genocide by casting off zionism and white supremacy, and committing ourselves to ending U.S. complicity in and support of the genocidal practices that affect Palestinian, Lebanese, Iranian, Syrian, and many other Arab, Muslim, and MENA communities daily. This year, we remember the hundreds of thousands that have been martyred and injured and next year may we end the violent specter of zionism and fascism everywhere. Shanah Tovah in liberation.

During this high holiday it is custom to eat challah bread and apples with honey. You're welcome to bring these snacks or grape juice. Please also dress accordingly for the outdoors in the afternoon and bring a camping chair. We'll see you on Sunday September 13th at 3:30 pm!
