Keep up the momentum for Tax the Rich after our 2/25 Albany Day of Action with a day of action right here in Rochester! Join us for a rally to learn more about Tax the Rich legislation and what it can do for our communities, followed by a teach-in about state budgets.

Schedule:

1pm- Rally
At 1pm, speakers including Councilmembers Mary Lupien and Stanley Martin, will share why taxing the rich will create needed revenue to support Rochester’s communities. We will provide ways to mobilize your community in support of tax increases for the wealthy and universal childcare.

2pm - Teach-in on the New York State Budget
Curious about the state budget? Want to know more about why now is a critical time to make an impact on the budget? Stick around to learn about how the budget process works and what we can do to influence where the money goes.
