General Meeting of the Tech Action Working Group. Post-election and post-budget-fight, we'll review the status of our current priorities. The meeting will also feature a political education and discussion segment.

The political education topic will cover the dot com bubble and it’s subsequent burst, then move into the 2008 financial crisis to develop a picture of what bubbles and speculation look like, and how the tech industry uses them to consolidate and grow their influence. What is a bubble? How did the dot com bubble happen? How has the tech sector come out of these major crises stronger and more ingrained in American life?
