This Wednesday, Portland City Council will vote on the City's Investment Policy for the coming year. Portland DSA, Oregon for Human Rights, JVP, and other orgs are asking Portlanders to submit testimony and demand a human rights screen on our city's investments.

As of Oct. 31, 2025 the City's corporate bonds include:

Apple ($50 million)
Amazon ($68 million)
Google ( $26.4 million)
Microsoft ($30 million)
NVIDIA ($14.9 million)
Walmart ($34 million)

Corporate bonds are loans and provide direct material support to these corporations.

Demand immediate divestment of city funds from genocidal tech weaponry and labor abuses. Our investment policy needs to be updated with a human rights screen that reflects OUR values, not the values of violent corporate profiteers.
