The Cumberland Planning Commission is considering Dominion's application to build a giant gas plant in Cumberland County.

Join your neighbors after hours at the Cumberland Coffee Co (2 Stoney Point Road) dinner and a community information session. Starting at 5:00 PM we will share information about the proposed gas plant and talk about what it could mean for Cumberland.

Dominion wants us to believe this plant is a done deal. But the Planning Commission can choose to recommend the proposal - or not. The commissioners will meet on 7/20 at 6:30 PM at the Cumberland Courthouse (Circuit Courtroom) at 1 Courthouse Cir, Cumberland, VA 23040.

Around 6:15 we will walk over together to the Planning Commission meeting. It's the perfect chance to listen to what our neighbors are saying and give comments if you choose.
