You're invited to join the Middle Tennessee Women’s Political Caucus (MIDTNWPC) for an engaging afternoon featuring candidates running for Tennessee’s 7th Congressional District. All candidates were invited, and those participating have confirmed their attendance. This is NOT a candidate debate. This event offers a unique opportunity for community members to hear directly from the individuals seeking to represent them in Congress, ask meaningful questions, and connect face-to-face with the candidates.
The program will feature a moderated panel discussion led by the Honorable Megan Barry, former Nashville Mayor and former Tennessee Congressional Nominee for District 7. Following the panel, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in an audience Q&A and engage directly with candidates during an open meet-and-greet. Throughout the event, candidates will share their perspectives on key issues affecting our communities, helping voters make informed decisions ahead of the upcoming election.
This event is free and open to the public, and all are welcome to attend. We hope you’ll join us on Saturday, August 16, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Kayne Avenue Missionary Baptist Church, located at 1025 12th Avenue South, Nashville, TN 37203.
While the focus is on Tennessee’s 7th Congressional District, this conversation matters to everyone who cares about the direction of our state and the leadership shaping its future. You don’t need to live in District 7 to be part of the movement for thoughtful, accountable representation. Your voice and your engagement can help shape a stronger Tennessee for all of us!
