Unions around the country are preparing to respond to UAW president Shawn Fain's call for a general strike on May Day 2028. All unionized MADSA members and MADSA members engaged in workplace organizing are invited to join MADSA Labor Working Group's "Roadmap to 2028" Labor Strategy Retreat, where we'll discuss how both existing unions and new workplace organizing can contribute to the strategy for 2028, set specific goals for MADSA's involvement both on and leading up to May Day 2028, and powermap the local labor scene.
Please note this event is only open to MADSA members. Pizza lunch will be provided. You can view the agenda for the retreat here.
Room 212 is on the second floor, which is accessible by elevator. Please enter through the Labor Temple Lounge door (around the back of the building) for easiest access to the elevator. There is no power door opener on the door to Room 212. If you need assistance opening the door, please knock.
Masks are not required, but both KN95 and surgical masks can be provided upon request. Please note this event is in person only.
