Want help preparing to testify? We’re hosting a hybrid “Power Hour” event where we will go over key details about the SouthCoast Wind project, the Energy Facility Siting Board review process, and what to expect when you arrive at the public hearing!

Public hearings are one of the most powerful tools we have to influence decision-makers and show that Rhode Islanders support a clean energy future. That’s why Climate Action Rhode Island and Climate Jobs Rhode Island are teaming up to host a Testimony Training “Power Hour”, a fast-paced, one-hour session to help you prepare, speak out, and make your voice count.

This hybrid event is designed to equip advocates like you with the tools and confidence to effectively testify at public hearings. Specifically, this event will focus on the upcoming Energy Facility Siting Board (EFSB) hearing on the SouthCoast Wind project, happening July 23rd in Portsmouth, RI.

During the session, you’ll learn:

  • Rhode Island’s key climate policies and clean energy goals

  • What’s at stake with the SouthCoast Wind project
