Tom Alter is a DSA member in San Marcos and historian with a focus on radical social and economic movements in Texas. Tom recently published Toward A Cooperative Commonwealth: The Transplanted Roots of Agrarian Radicalism in Texas. He has been featured in Jacobin, In These Times, and Rag Radio with our own Alice Embree. He will be speaking about the height of the Socialist Party in Texas.
