As we head toward November, we will be kicking our texting efforts into high gear to get out the vote and help elect progressive candidates across the country!

Please sign up here to attend our Virtual Textbank. We'll meet on Zoom to work together as a group, ask questions as they arise, and build a sense of teamwork as we head into the crucial months ahead.

To participate in texting, volunteers need to have at least intermediate-level computer skills. If you can answer “yes” to all of these questions, then please join us. If you answer “no” to any of those questions, you will probably be happier reaching out to voters through our other opportunities such as phone banking or postcarding.
  • Do you have a comfort level with technology where you are easily able to switch between your email, your web browser, Zoom, and various apps on your computer?
  • Do you feel comfortable downloading and installing apps, creating accounts, and remembering your login/passwords?
  • Will you check your email for instructions necessary to set yourself up for a texting assignment? And would you be willing to keep checking for replies to texts and responding to them over the course of several days?
