The New Economy
A Next Systems Teach-In with Winona LaDuke
Winona
LaDuke is an economist, environmentalist, tribal leader, and two-time
vice-presidential candidate. In her talk for the Next Systems
Teach-Ins, she explains how unsustainable economic systems provide an
excellent opportunity to build something greener, more
community-oriented, more successful, and maybe even happier. Her
prescription: “Make a living, not a killing.”

This November 1-16, tens of thousands are gathering in college campuses, neighborhood centers, union halls, and public spaces around the world to take up the challenge of system change. The Next System Teach-Ins will bring us together, united in the work of building a system that sustains the future we all deserve.
