The State of Young California event began as a forum to convene students, young adults , partners, and elected officials from across California to address the critical issues facing young adults while collaboratively identifying opportunities to build the California we envision for all.

Now, in collaboration with the Youth Futures Movement, a collaboration between UCSA, MILPA, and Young Invincibles, the 2025 State of Young California embraces our current moment: The Urgency of Now: Mobilizing for California's Future.

Rooted in a vision shaped with and by young adults, this day-long summit will bring together youth leaders, community partners, and local and state decisionmakers from across California. Together, we will confront the urgent challenges facing young people today while co-creating solutions for a more just and equitable future.
