Join us for the multi-partisan Third Annual Women's Day on the Hill organized by the Tennessee Women's Political Caucus! Co-Chaired by NWPCTN Board members, Councilwoman Brenda Gadd, JD, Ruby Powell-Dennis, MBA, and Dr. Jennifer Watson, Ph.D this exciting and empowering event brings women from across the state to Nashville for a full day of policy advocacy and community-building. As part of this annual tradition, participants will have the unique opportunity to meet with their legislators and work toward engagement and positive change.
Throughout the day, you'll engage in advocacy training, hear from influential speakers, and connect with lawmakers and leaders from around Tennessee. Whether you're passionate about advancing women’s rights, health care, education, or economic equity, this event is the perfect platform to amplify your voice, find your place, and make a real impact on policy decisions.
We are thrilled to announce that Megan Barry, Nashville's first female mayor and author of the memoir "It's What You Do Next: The Fall and Rise of Nashville's First Female Mayor," will be our keynote speaker at Women's Day on the Hill 2025.
With a career marked by groundbreaking leadership and resilience, Megan brings a wealth of experience and insight to our event. Her journey, from her historic election in 2015 to her personal and professional challenges, exemplifies the strength and determination that inspire us all. Join us to hear Megan's compelling story of triumph, transformation, and the power of moving forward.
Come be part of a powerful movement, build valuable relationships, and help shape the future of Tennessee for women!
