Why is CIPP hosting bargaining consultations?

In recent years bargaining with the City of Ottawa has been very disappointing. Your employer has failed to engage meaningfully with us at the bargaining table, forcing us to go to arbitration, and the results have not been good.  

You deserve better; it's time for respect.

What will be discussed?

In these consultations, we will:

• Review and confirm the top issues identified by you in the Bargaining Survey.

• Highlight the ways our approach to bargaining is evolving to have a greater opportunity for success in this and future rounds of negotiations.  

• And provide an opportunity to build connections, strengthen our team and learn together in advance of negotiations.
