The authors of PeaceTalk join us to discuss this new book. It is a rich compilation of resources related to peace meant to inspire students and readers with the individuals, organizations, and world events that have shaped humanity's progress toward the abolition of war and the advancement of social and economic justice. As Afshan Huma from Allama Iqbal Open University, Pakistan said: “In an age where global conflcts continue to dominate headlines—from ongoing wars in Eastern Europe and the Middle East to civil unrest and humanitarian crises—the need for a collective rethinking of our response to violence has never been greater. PeaceTalk not only challenges the deeply ingrained belief that war is inevitable, but also offers practical, philosophical, and educational pathways to nurturing a culture of peace.
