One of Berkeley's most exciting new housing projects is a 17-story building with 227 apartments on the site of the United Artists Theater on Shattuck. The architect of the new building has invited East Bay YIMBY and our allies, East Bay for Everyone, to tour the theater and hear how the new building will restore the lobby and surviving art deco details.

This is an exciting opportunity to go behind the scenes of the building before it goes to city council for final approval.
