Join MAWG for an in-depth training on strategic approaches to mutual aid!

We'll tackle questions like:

• How does mutual aid fit into a mass movement theory of change?
• What skills and experiences can organizers develop from taking part in mutual aid organizing, and which can help them tackle it in the first place?
• How can we build connections across organizations without depoliticizing our mutual aid work?
• How can we turn casual mutual aid project volunteers into socialist organizers?
• "Resilience" is key to long-term organizing, but it's hard to quantify. How can we measure it?
• How can we balance sustaining our own organization from the inside with growing it and expanding our capacity and reach?

We will cover a variety of specific organizing skills, talk about some mutual aid theory as well as more general socialist mass movement theory, and have ample time for breakout rooms to discuss our own experiences and practice some of the organizing skills we're learning as we go.
