The Quad Cities Democratic Socialists of America is announcing our new campaign - Trans Sanctuary Davenport - and you’re all invited! QCDSA is fighting for an ordinance in Davenport to protect bodily autonomy: we want anyone receiving or providing gender affirming care or reproductive healthcare in the city to be protected from prosecution from state or federal authorities. At a time where the State of Iowa and the federal government are attacking trans rights and abortion rights, we can turn to the cities to fight back! 🏳️‍⚧️

Join us at our kickoff event to learn about our campaign and how to get involved! We’ll have refreshments and entertainment, but we’re also hosting a shapewear swap, so we’re asking anyone attending to bring and donate any gently used shapewear.

Types of shapewear include: Chest binders, packers, girdles, menstrual briefs, gaffs, gaff tape, packing boxers, training/padded/mastectomy bras, and more!
