Movement recently completed a successful community engagement campaign in Surrey, collecting over 300 responses to our survey on the state of transit. We shared the results with the City of Surrey and its consultants, who are working on a Surrey Transit Vision that will shape the city’s transit network for years to come.

This campaign wasn’t just about completing a survey. It was about amplifying the voices, stories, and real, impactful challenges faced by transit riders in Surrey, many of which have been overlooked by the current transit system.

To celebrate the support, stories, and resilience of Surrey’s transit riders, we are hosting a Transit Tapestries event - bringing together community members, Movement staff, and volunteers to create art and spark meaningful conversations.

Join us at Surrey Libraries’ City Centre branch to contribute to a community zine through art-making, enjoy food and refreshments, share your transit stories, and learn more about our work.

We will also be thanking attendees for their time with Lush product giveaways and/or honorariums.
