On October 11, communities across the world are coming together for a global protest to call for a ban on fracking, a dangerous method of drilling for natural gas that puts our air, water, climate and communities at risk.
UC Berkeley Students Against Fracking and other environmental organizations from around the Bay Area will be hosting fracking teach-ins.
Stencils Against Fracking will be providing beautiful art to make our message clear. We want a ban on fracking! You'll be able to make your own anti-fracking clothing! Bring your own t-shirt, bag, or other item, or a donation for a t-shirt at the event. We encourage people to bike or use public transportation, or arrive early for limited parking.
Sign up to join the Global Frackdown event in our community on Saturday, 10/11!
