Unequal Britain and How to Fix It with Prof Danny Dorling and Zarah Sultana MP speaking in Oxford.
The focus of the joint SHA/SEA event will be on child poverty and its effects in terms of unequal health and education outcomes.
We will organise sessions with local activists about maternity services and how we can make Oxfordshire’s commitment to become a Marmot place work on the ground.
A Marmot Place recognises that health and health inequalities are mostly shaped by the social determinants of health: the conditions in which people are born, grow, live, work and age, and takes action to improve health and reduce health inequalities.
