This spooky season, what’s really haunting us aren’t ghosts or goblins — it’s the stories we keep hearing (and living) about moms being forced back to work way too soon. Moms sitting by their baby’s NICU bed, trying to figure out if they can afford another day off. Families choosing between income and care.

That’s the real horror story.

No mom should ever have to make that choice — but in this country, we’re still being asked to.

That’s why on Thursday, October 30 at 1:30 PM ET/ 11:30 AM MT, we’re coming together with Congresswoman Brittany Pettersen from Colorado — the mom who went back to work just four weeks after having her baby to vote to protect healthcare — to share and hear the real stories behind America’s unpaid leave crisis.

We’re calling it “(Un)Paid Leave Horror Stories.” Because what’s happening to moms and families isn’t just unfair — it’s terrifying.
