Vigil for President Kennedy's Memorial
Start: Friday, May 29, 2026•06:30 PM
End: Friday, May 29, 2026•08:00 PM
The Kennedy Center is a memorial to a war veteran, Senator and President who died in service to his country. Designated as America's place to honor his sacrifice through joyful noise, it has instead been defaced, depopulated, and now sits on the verge of destruction.
The President claims President Kennedy's Memorial will undergo 'renovations', but as we look at the crater that is the East Wing, we know that if given a chance this place will be demolished to make room for whatever his designs are.
The people of America refuse to let Kennedy's memory be destroyed again,
On President Kennedy's 109th birthday, we are gathering in song and community for the future of Kennedy's memorial and the people who make it run. We call for a reversal of it's closure, the protection of the people and jobs inside, and a return of this memorial to a place of joy.
