Join MDC DSA: NOVA Branch on a Virtual Field Trip to The Maryland Center for History and Culture on April 23rd at 11 AM.

Anyone can join online for a 60-minute virtual field trip on The Indigenous People of the Chesapeake. The program will allow participants to examine primary sources and artifacts of the indigenous people of the region, as well as the effect colonization had on them. Learn about life along the Chesapeake Bay and how it changed when Indigenous peoples encountered the Colonists. The presentation was created in partnership with Historic St. Mary’s City. For more information on the program please check out the Maryland Center for History and Culture website: Virtual Field Trips: Adults – Maryland Center for History and Culture (mdhistory.org)

We ask all participants to please be ready to attend no later than 10 minutes before the start of the program.
