As per Article 8.3 of our Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), you are invited to attend this training on work time to learn about important changes to our contract and grow your stewarding skills. This training is essential to ensure a fair and equitable enforcement of our contract.

Please be advised that according to the AFSCME Council 28/WFSE Steward Policy, all Stewards must attend and complete this training, within the lifetime of the 25-27 contract, to maintain their title as a steward.

This training qualifies as paid work time, and the WFSE will arrange for your release from work, but you must notify your supervisor of your attendance date. Please note that you are expected to attend the entire training with video enabled to earn credit for attendance. Attendance is limited, so register for your preferred training right away! All AFSCME Council 28/WFSE CBA trainings are closed for registration two weeks prior to the date of the training for the WFSE to maintain compliance with proper notification of release.

All participants are strongly encouraged to attend via laptop or desktop computer (i.e., not via phone) to allow for full participation and comprehension of the material.
