Join Pine Belt Humanists as we volunteer at Southern Pines Animal Shelter's annual Barktoberfest!

Barktoberfest is an annual event that brings together pet adoptions, a fall festival, a Trunk or Treat, and other fun activities for families across the Pine Belt. It's a fun opportunity to give back to our community while helping homeless pets find homes.

Pine Belt Humanists will be volunteering throughout the event, with opportunities decorate and host Trunk or Treat vehicles, help with face painting, and more. Whether you can volunteer for a couple of hours or stay longer, we'd love to have you join our crew.

In addition to RSVPing here, please complete the Southern Pines form, so they can best plan space and tasks for the folks who sign up.

This is a wonderful opportunity to put humanist values into action by getting out into the community, supporting animal welfare, and helping create a fun, welcoming experience for our neighbors.
