Volunteers wanted to help maintain tree planting at Foothills Conservancy's Possum Rock River Access.

THE PLAN
We will be clearing competing species from around the planted tree seedlings and saplings to ensure they get plenty of nutrients and sun to be able to grow to healthy full sized trees. Volunteers can choose tasks including mowing, weedeating, pruning, pulling, and carrying the spoils into a dump pile. Tools and gloves will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer!

HOW TO PREPARE
Please wear closed toed shoes and long sleeves/long pants. We will be standing the whole time, bending over, and/or operating machinery. Snacks and water provided. Please request a permission form to participate if you are under 18 years old from bwatkins@foothillsconservancy.org
