Add your name to say you will #VoteForScience at all levels in the upcoming primary!

This year, in addition to our US House and Senate reps, New Mexico will elect a new governor and other leaders to important state executive positions. All 70 state House seats are up for election. Science policy issues are more and more critical, affecting our economy, public health, education, safety and security, and even our recreation. We have a great opportunity to improve the future of our state by being better informed citizens and strengthening democratic processes. And if we want science to serve us, then we need to vote for candidates who will let it. Cast your vote for science at the primaries.

*In order to cast votes in a closed primary election, voters must register a political party affiliation. Check or update your voter registration at least 28 days before the election: https://www.bernco.gov/clerk/voter-registration.aspx

Ready to do more than vote to make sure we have public officials who understand and promote sound science-based policies?

✓ Help other voters be informed of the relevant science priorities and positions of all of our candidates! Volunteer by tracking down candidates to answer 10 of the most pressing science policy questions today. We are still in the earliest stages of organizing this. Email us if you'd like to help or work on tailoring questions specific to our community: info@marchforscienceABQ.org
✓ Register others to vote. This year marks the first time that millennials are the largest voter-eligible demographic. Contact us to help get out the vote, especially if you enjoy youth outreach!
