WAISN's Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Day allows us the opportunity to be present, visible, and vocal at the State Capitol and speak directly to our Representatives and Senators regarding our initiatives and their significance.

Join us at the State Capital in Olympia, Thursday February 16, 2023!


We will be discussing the importance of the following two campaigns - Health Equity for Immigrants, which will provide equal access to healthcare for all low-income Washingtonians, regardless of their immigration status, and the Unemployment Insurance for Undocumented Workers, which will create a permanent, separate unemployment system that provides benefits to undocumented workers.

We encourage participation from immigrants, refugees, undocumented youth, allies with voting power, to come and share their stories at the capital.

Transportation:

Route 1: Departure Tri Cities at 2am.

Stops in Yakima and Ellensburg.

Route 2:  Departure from Seattle. No stops.

Submitting this form is the first step to stand by our undocumented communities in demanding access to safety net programs.

El Día de Cabildeo de Inmigrantes y Refugiados de WAISN nos brinda la oportunidad de estar presentes, visibles y hacer que nuestras voces se escuchen en el Capitolio del estado y hablar directamente con nuestros Representantes y Senadores sobre nuestras iniciativas y su importancia.

¡Únase a nosotros en el Capitolio en Olimpia, el jueves 16 de Febrero de 2023!

Discutiremos la importancia de las siguientes dos campañas: Equidad en Salud para Inmigrantes, que brindará acceso equitativo a la atención médica para todos los habitantes de Washington de bajos ingresos, independientemente de su estado migratorio y el Seguro de Desempleo para Trabajadores Indocumentados, que creará un sistema de desempleo permanente y separado que brinda beneficios a los trabajadores indocumentados.

Alentamos la participación de inmigrantes, refugiados, jóvenes indocumentados, aliados con poder de voto, para que vengan y compartan sus historias en el Capitolio.

Transportacion:
Ruta 1: Sale de Tri Cities a las 2am. Hara paradas en Yakima y Ellensburg
Ruta 2: Sale de Seattle. No hay paradas.
