Kerrupmara Gunditjmara man, former Yoorrook Justice Commission Deputy Chair, and Executive Director at the Centre for Truth Telling and Dialogue (University of Melbourne), Travis Lovett, has walked more than 800km from Melbourne to Canberra.

Along the way, thousands of people have joined him – showing their solidarity and shining a light on the growing call for a national truth-telling process with First Peoples.

But despite this momentum, the Albanese Government continues to step back from its commitments to truth and justice – abandoning funding and action toward a Makaratta process.

As Travis arrives at Parliament, it’s critical we show the Prime Minister the depth of support for truth-telling across the country.

Will you join us for a snap solidarity action at Kurilpa Hall in West End on Wednesday 27 May?

When: Wednesday 27 May, from 10am
Where: Kurilpa Hall, West End
Who: Everyone is welcome!
What: Morning tea, tuning in to hear Travis speak from the lawns of Parliament, and a group photo to share on social media.
