Please join us for an evening of food and stories in support of emerging Palestinian writers. To mark the recent publication of We Are Not Numbers: The Voices of Gaza’s Youth, local artists, activists and home cooks are collaborating to serve a nourishing menu of Palestinian food and stage a selection of powerful readings from the We Are Not Numbers essay archives. The book will be available for purchase on site and all attendees will be entered into a raffle to win a book bundle from Interlink Books, the US publisher of We Are Not Numbers: The Voices of Gaza’s Youth.

RSVPs are strongly encouraged to ensure that ample food is available. Admission is by donation and includes the cost of food (suggested $25 per person). No one will be turned away for lack of funds. All proceeds from this event will go toward We Are Not Numbers, a nonprofit initiative pairing emerging Gazan writers with international mentors.
