11/20 Weekly Volunteer Meeting: Bay Area Transit Funding Measure

Your community is on the verge of losing transit service as BART, Caltrain, Muni, and AC Transit face HUGE cuts. For example, BART could drop from 4,200 trains/week to just 500.

But we can save families money on transportation, unsnarl traffic, grow our economy, clean our air, and create a more equitable and affordable Bay Area. IF we collect enough signatures, then voters will have the chance to prevent cuts and improve service with an upcoming 5-county ballot measure raising about $1B annually to support transit.

To stop these devastating service cuts, we need to get the word out now, get organized, and gather over 200,000 signatures from across the Bay Area to get this on the November 2026 ballot.

It's going to take a lot of work -- and so we need your help in this campaign.

Whatever skills you bring to the table (or are up for learning) can be used to help the campaign. We need people who can help write, research, edit, graphic design, pass out flyers, organize databases, translate materials, and so much more.
