Join Amistad and the fight for community safety alternatives. We will be meeting in West Philly December 10th 6:30-8:00pm. Snacks and drinks will be provided. We will be meeting every month to discuss and work on building community power and pressuring decision makers to give our communities what we deserve.

It is important that we have support to prevent violence and crime in our communities. Looking at the role of police, we understand that police do not solve or prevent any issues of violence or crime in our communities. What if our communities had free and accessible Mental Health and Trauma services, Youth jobs, restorative justice, violence interrupters, and funded harm reduction? These are a few alternatives that can support our communities and work towards safety we can feel.
