Why We Have to Give Importance to Elderly Veterans
Start: Thursday, December 29, 2016•10:30 AM

My father was working in military for 30 years. After the retirement, he became lonely. He keep on telling us about his friends that were lost during Vietnam and Cambodian conflicts. He was sad, because he was not able to adjust into civilian. He was the Crow from Shawshank Redemption.
After completing my PhD in psychology, I felt that we should have done something special for these people. They spent their life to protect our homeland and make USA a better place. In order to do that. We are arranging 1 hour short event with Dr. Robert Johnman, (my teacher, who spent his whole life to study life of armed forces individuals. He will give a short talk and provide us insights of his experience. Also, I will share useful insights from psychology and personal life. How can we provide them with useful resources of books, spent quality time, arrange meetup events of fellow veteran. Only 90 people can join us. So, hurry to register.
Thanks
