The Wilmington Democratic Socialists of America chapter sponsors a monthly cleanup effort to help make the living environment for unhoused folks more tolerable and to help protect our local environment. Providing this service to our unhoused neighbors makes it less likely that complaints will be filed or city officials will harass the people living in the encampment. We also bring much needed supplies to people in need as we are able, so all donations welcome. Supplies needed: non-perishable food, seasonally appropriate clothing, hygiene items, blankets, and towels.

We will have all the tool necessary to pick up trash, all you need to do is show up!
