There has been a lot said about Woking's debt. We've heard excuses, explanations and plans from so many people. For most people the noise that has come from various politicians hasn't left them any more certain of what has happened or what needs to happen in the future to resolve the issue. Having followed this issue for some time and having taken part in public debates where it has been discussed our local chairperson feels that he is ideally suited to discussing the details of the issue without letting narrow partisanship control the discussion.

As such this will be one of the online public lectures we run aimed at making sure people understand as much as possible about the debt. We will not assume people know everything about the debt, so these events will start off with an introduction to the topic that is quite basic, but move onto explaining some of the more challenging and technical issues in a way we hope is engaging, clear and thorough so that everyone who attends can talk with confidence about the problems Woking faces.
