The purpose of this event is to team up with The Women’s March on Washington, taking place that same day in Washington DC. We want to demonstrate our solidarity with our sisters (and brothers) who are traveling to DC to march in support of Human Rights and planetary stewardship.
We are seeking to strengthen our hearts, minds and spirits for the work facing us as we walk forward in an uncertain world.
What to expect: Answers to: “what can I do to make a difference & advocate for human rights?” and....
• How to be involved in Spiritual Activism
• Gloria Karpinski, author of Barefoot on Holy Ground, will lead us through a Litany for a Peaceful Planet
• Interfacing with those from our community who are marching in Washington
• Support, love and understanding and most of all HOPE.
COST: No cost, but we will ask for a Love Donation. We will also be selling special yard signs as a fundraiser.
SIGN UP: Space is limited so the first 100 are guaranteed a space! To RSVP contact Catherine Jourdan directly. Pre-registration is required because of limited space. Feel free to invite friends but please emphasize the need to pre-register.
