On Saturday, September 20, 2025, Woodbridge will join communities across Connecticut in celebrating the unstoppable rise of clean, renewable energy. We’ll gather at the Woodbridge Town Library from 1:00–4:30 PM for the Woodbridge Solar Showcase: Celebrating Our Town’s Clean Energy Progress.

The afternoon will feature a short, brand-new solar documentary, a community discussion about the future of solar in Woodbridge, and presentations on opportunities for homeowners. The day concludes with a Poetry in Nature Picnic from 5:00-6:30 PM in the Woodbridge Community Gardens, led by Woodbridge Poet Laureate Charlotte Allen. Please RSVP for the picnic here:

This local showcase is part of Sun Day, a global day of action on September 21st that uplifts the power of solar and wind energy to help power our world without pollution.
