Sign up to oppose Woonsocket's city government wasting $13 million of the city's ARPA funds to build a new "public safety complex". This costly expansion of policing isn't what the ARPA funds are intended for, and city residents already spoke loud and clear to demand that the ARPA money be used for housing, health, water infrastructure, and roads.

Rebuild Woonsocket, BLM RI PAC, the WATCH Coalition, Silence is Violence: 401, the RI Queer PAC, and Woonsocket community leaders issued a statement on Wednesday, calling on the City Council to reject 22-R-28 , recommit to honoring public input, and spend the remaining ARPA funds in line with what the community of Woonsocket has clearly stated it wants and needs.

So let's all join together in the council chamber on Monday to show them that the community wants this money spent on housing, health, and clean water, not police!

Woonsocket residents, please plan to testify against this negligent use of money (Resolution 22.R.28) in person at 7pm on Monday, March 21st at City Hall (3rd floor).
