Workers Memorial Day Commemoration, Milwaukee

We will observe Workers Memorial Day this year to remember those who have suffered and died on the job and to renew our efforts for safe workplaces. This year the struggle continues to create good jobs that are safe and pay fair wages and to ensure the freedom of workers to form unions so they can speak out and bargain for respect and a better future.

When - 5:00 PM

Where - Wisconsin Workers Memorial, Zeidler Union Square, 4th and Michigan Ave, Milwaukee

Guest Speakers: Milwaukee County Attorney John Chisholm; Professional Firefighters of Wisconsin State President Mahlon Mitchell; and Building and Trades Council President and Oak Creek City Alderman Daniel Bukiewicz

Then, walk around corner to continue the commemoration and “Fight Like Hell for the Living”….
