Street Level Health Project/Oakland Workers' Collective, Workforce, and Centro Legal de la Raza will hold an evening of remembrance 'Reclaim Labor Reclaim Lives! They will march from Lake Merrit Ampitheatre to Downtown. Participants wil then march in solidarity to City Hall at 1 Frank H. Ogawa Plaza. At 5:30 p.m. there will be a short memorial program featuring workers, labor, government agencies, and advocates. A moment of silence will be observed to mourn workers who passed in the workplace in the prior year. To honor all the day laborers, immigrants, and low wage workers' lives who have been lost due to unsafe working conditions, and highlighting the importance of continuing the fight for worker's rights.
