Join this workshop to support the Everyone Connected campaign, which is calling on the Electricity Authority to protect families struggling with power prices.

On 13 December, the Electricity Authority will make an important decision about its 'Consumer Care Guidelines' - a set of recommendations for how power companies should treat consumers. These guidelines cover important things, such as not disconnecting people who are medically dependent on electricity; keeping fees reasonable; and helping customers avoid debt.

BUT right now these guidelines are only voluntary, with no penalties for companies that ignore them.

We're calling on the Electricity Authority to commit to making the full set of guidelines mandatory, as soon as possible.
